Howard Hindin, DDS

Dr. Hindin, a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, has been in clinical practice for over 50 years. He is co-founder and president of the American Academy of Physiological Medicine & Dentistry as well as founder of the Foundation for Airway Health.

Dr. Hindin is the co-founder of The Hindin Center for Whole Health Dentistry in Suffern, NY focusing on the relationship between dental issues and whole-body health including sleep disorders, TMJ and craniofacial pain, and airway issues.

He is a passionate advocate for patient and doctors’ rights as well as improving the healthcare system. He developed and supervised the Acupuncture Program for Substance Abuse in Rockland County, NY and is the co-author of GASP – AIRWAY HEALTH, THE HIDDEN PATH TO WELLNESS.

Dr. Hindin has presented important position papers to dental and medical groups throughout the country. His research into the dental-medical connection and systemic balance has shaped the medical community’s understanding of this growing and important field.
